September and October Events
Over the past several months, Pastors for Texas Children and Pastors for Children have brought together faith leaders, educators, elected officials, and community supporters at events in Lubbock, Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio.
We are grateful for everyone who has joined us in our shared commitment to strengthening Texas neighborhood public schools. We especially appreciate the participation of State Representative James Talarico in our Prayer Time with Pastors and Superintendents, State Representative Gina Hinojosa in a statewide conversation about public education, and State Senator Taylor Rehmet, who shared his perspective on the importance of local elections and strong public schools.
Our mission is not about political parties, but about children, educators, and the neighborhood public schools that serve as the heart of our communities.
We welcome leaders from across the political spectrum who share this commitment, because supporting public education is a responsibility we all share.
