Our Faith, Our Children, Our Future
Election season is near, and one thing remains true:
Public education is always on the ballot.
Texas is at a pivotal moment. Several Texas House and State Senate races are highly competitive, creating a unique opportunity to strengthen support for public education.
PTC's campaign, Our Faith, Our Children, Our Future, is a targeted voter engagement campaign focused on the legislative districts where trusted local voices can make the greatest difference. Through grassroots organizing, digital outreach, and strategic communications, we are encouraging Texans to support leaders who will strengthen neighborhood public schools.
Our campaign budget is nearly $300,000, and thanks to generous supporters, more than $150,000 has already been committed. We are now raising the remaining funds to expand voter outreach and community engagement during the critical weeks before Election Day.

Feed the Hungry Initiative
Pastors for Texas Children is proud to partner with the Episcopal Health Foundation because we know that children cannot succeed in school when they are hungry. Good nutrition is essential for learning, healthy development, and overall well-being. Protecting SNAP is one of the most meaningful ways faith communities can support children and families both inside and outside the classroom.
The Episcopal Health Foundation is leading a statewide, interfaith effort to protect the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which provides critical food assistance to millions of Texans. While congregations and community organizations faithfully serve families through food pantries and meal ministries, SNAP remains the nation's largest and most effective anti-hunger program, helping children, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and working families put food on the table.

Help us reach our collective PTC goal of 1,000 signatures as part of the Episcopal Health Foundation's statewide goal of 20,000 signatures. Please sign the Call to Feed the Hungry petition and encourage members of your congregation, friends, and community to do the same in support of protecting SNAP benefits.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference for children and families across Texas. By working together, we can raise awareness, strengthen support for those experiencing food insecurity, and help ensure every child has access to the nutritious food they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
